It all began when Kerry thought she'd be spending the summer in the ski town of Leavenworth, soaking up the sun and enjoying the mountains. She was working at Stevens Pass, excited about the adventures ahead. Life threw a curveball when she tore her ACL for the second time. Suddenly, her summer plans transformed into surgery and physical therapy. Meanwhile, Connor spent the last few years as a travel physical therapist and had decided to take a more permanent job in Snohomish. After the operation, Kerry found herself in the same physical therapy office she had gone to after her first ACL tear, only to find out that she wasn't on their schedule at all. She had given her surgeon the wrong PT office name. Kerry's grandma quickly drove her to the correct PT office. She was nervous about working with a PT she wasn't familiar with. That's when she met Connor. He was relaxed and confident, with a caring nature that instantly put Kerry at ease. Even during the most challenging sessions, he could make her laugh or distract her by engaging in good conversation. One day, feeling a bit daring, Kerry casually invited (3 times, casually) him to watch her dad and her play at an open mic night. To Kerry's surprise, he showed up—not just once but thrice! Each performance was better with him in the audience, cheering Kerry on and supporting her. From that point on, Their friendship grew into something special. Sometimes, unexpected and unwanted turns bring you exactly where you’re meant to be.
