Sean has become my best friend and I can’t imagine life without him. I have never met anyone who understands me the way he does, loves so fiercely, cares so deeply, and pushes me to be the best I can be. Katie and I have been talking about being one another's maids of honors since kindergarten. During our entire childhood, people would hardly ever see the two of us separately, we were always stuck together. It was always, "Katie and Alyssa". It wasn't until our senior year of high school we had to go our separate ways. I moved to Ohio and Katie stayed in TN. But no distance could break this friendship. May 23, 2020 will be a long awaited day for the two lifelong friends. - Alyssa
RJ Avery
Best Man
Even tho technically we are cousins, RJ has always been my brother. We grew up together playing football, hockey, and video games. Some of my favorite childhood memories are thanks to RJ. Our childhood shenanigans made Thanksgiving and Christmas my favorite time of year. It seems like RJ is always around for the important moments in my life and Im so thankful he gets to be apart of this one. -Sean

I was able to stand by Sarah's side as she married my older brother and I gained a new sister. I am so happy to have her stand by me on my special day as well. I have always been the older sister, since having Sarah in the family, I've gotten to see what it is like to have an older sister. I always appreciate being invited to Joel and Sarah's, partially because they always make good food. -Alyssa

When Joel and I were little we fought all the time. But once we both were in high school, we had a lot of the same friends. He started driving and would drive us both to school, during this time, Joel started becoming one of my best friends. He wanted me to stand with him at his wedding and I can’t imagine getting married without my big brother there. I’ve learned a lot from him and I know that he will continue to look out for me. I can’t wait to have a married couple dinner with Joel and Sarah once Sean and I are officially part of the club. -Alyssa

The day I was brought home from the hospital, Ash cried. She told my parents to take me back in exchange for girl. She always wanted a sister to braid hair, play dress up, and share clothes with. Instead she got me, a NASCAR loving, country music playing, grass stained little brother. Despite being polar opposites, Ash and I always got along well. Just don’t ask her about the time I bit her on the leg for going to the slide when it was my turn. Ash has always been a good friend and even though she didn’t want a little brother, I’m certainly glad I ended up with a sister. - Sean

Jonah, the youngest of the Meoak siblings, has an obsession with video games, loves to pet Coco the cat and makes a mean double-decker egg breakfast sandwich. I remember when Jonah was born and I was confused as to why my younger sister was wearing MY shirt that said, "I'm a big sister" and Joel was excited we would have to get a bigger car. As the baby, Jonah has life pretty easy and by the time he gets married, he will already have been in at least three wedding so he should have the whole thing down. - Alyssa

Lifelong friendship are a treasure and sharing important moments like these with lifelong friends makes them even more precious. Aspen and I grew up running across the house pretending to be horses or dogs, dancing to the song at the end of Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, go on “polar bear” swims, and always using our imagination to create games and have fun. Along with our brothers, we would go hiking through the woods, play capture the flag, build forts, and make up stories. Such precious memories and childhood games will never be forgotten. -Alyssa
Lacy Meoak

There has been another individual in the Meoak family that has show me much love, and that is Lacy. She’s soft, sweet, and a bit of a goof. Lacy knows us just about as well as we know each other. She can sense when we are upset and is always willing to offer comfort through giving her hugs and scratches. Many of our memories as a couple center around doing things with Lacy. Her warm personality and loving expressions will always be a part of our story. -Sean

Sister are like built in friends... who constantly steal your clothes. Kara and I have been in multiple musicals and plays together and carry on a tradition of performing a song around Christmas time. We are always passing songs along to one another as we passed throughout the house - one will start singing a show tune the other will subconsciously pick it up and start singing it as well. -Alyssa

We were not expecting to grow our family so soon but Gus has came into our lives and stole our hearts. He is the sweetest pup around who loves to cuddle and show off.
