We're Getting Married!

Garrett and Lacey’s story began freshman year at Fish Camp, when Garrett first walked up and introduced himself. Even though Lacey was a bit more reserved at first, there was something about her that kept him coming back to talk again and again, something that, looking back now, feels like the very beginning of everything. After Fish Camp, life took them in different directions, and they didn’t cross paths much again until the start of sophomore year. That changed one night in Dallas at a fraternity event, when they unexpectedly ran into each other. With a simple, “Do you remember me?” everything fell right back into place, as if no time had passed at all. From there, their story began to unfold. What started as a few conversations quickly turned into dates and date parties, where they found themselves laughing together and making memories with friends. Between the fun, there were countless study dates in Evans Library. Hours spent side by side, studying but mostly just enjoying each other’s company. It was in those little, everyday moments that something real began to grow. On November 7th, 2025, by the river in Gruene, Texas, Garrett asked Lacey the question that felt like the most natural next step in their story, and of course, she said yes. What started as a simple introduction at Fish Camp turned into something far greater than either of them could have imagined. Garrett and Lacey feel incredibly grateful to have found each other, and they can’t wait to begin this next chapter together and celebrate it with all of the people they love most.
