Question
Why are the reception and ceremony on separate days? Should I be attending both?
Answer
We decided to separate the reception and ceremony to eliminate the stresses of logistical and financial constraints of coordinating both on the same day. The ceremony will be for immediate, nuclear family and will be followed by a small celebratory dinner. The reception will be a more casual affair for all extended family and friends to enjoy some good food and share in the celebration. Please attend the event(s) that you received Save the Dates and Invitations for.

Where is the reception located?
Answer
The reception is located at Menomonee Park at the indoor pavilion located within the park. As you enter the park, you can follow signs to the lodge. There is also a large outdoor space and firepit, so please dress accordingly to be both indoors and outdoors.

Where should I park?
Answer
There are a number of parking spots available directly near the lodge, and more a short walk away. Please save the nearest parking spots for those with limited mobility. In order to enter the park, you will need a daily permit. Please purchase a $7 entry permit in advance at https://www.waukeshacounty.gov/landandparks/park-system/park-fees/entrance-fees/. This permit is good for the entire day, so feel free to explore the park prior to arriving at the reception!

What kind of food and beverage will be served at the reception?
Answer
Food will be catered by St. Martaen Vegan Catering from Chicago, IL. Wine and beer will be provided, as well as non-alcoholic choices. Feel free to BYOB if you would like a specific drink.

Plus one's are limited, please text/call us to ensure that we have space for a plus one before you RSVP.

Should I bring a gift to the reception?
Answer
While we greatly appreciate gifts, we consider your presence at the reception or ceremony the greatest gift we could ask. If you would like to gift us anything, feel free to browse our registry on this website or contribute to our honeymoon & travel fund.

Will Remy be there?

You betcha! Remy will be present at both the ceremony and reception.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is dressy casual. Please wear what will make you comfortable. Expect to have pictures taken with the bride and groom.
