We understand life is crazy, and sometimes things come up that are out of your control! We just ask that you please let us know if your plans have changed! Our venue allows us to update the final head count up to three days prior to the event, so please don’t hesitate to reach out at any point.
Yes, May 10th 2026 is the planned date for The Ohio State University’s Commencement Ceremony. Please keep this in mind as you plan your travel/lodging, as our celebration is not incredibly far from the university.
The Bride and Groom have coordinated Hotel Blocks with the Courtyard by Marriott Columbus OSU and the Hyatt Place Columbus OSU, both of which are directly adjacent to The Grand Event Center. However, there are plenty of other hotels available in short distance to the venue.
The Bride and Groom ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the Ceremony.
Cocktail to Formal Attire Suits or a dress shirt and dress pants would be appropriate for gentlemen. Evening gowns, jumpsuits, or midi- to knee-length dresses are all great options for ladies.
Both the Ceremony and Reception will be held indoors, with the Reception also holding an outdoor seating space available to anyone during the Cocktail Hour and post-dinner.
Yes, there is free parking for all guests both at the Church and attached to the Reception Venue / Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.
There will be catered hors d’oeuvres during the Cocktail Hour. Dinner will be buffet style with menu items that include chicken, beef, and a vegetarian option. Desserts include cake and cookies!
