Question

WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?

Answer

We are carrying on as planned! With a few fun modifications, of course, that we know will work out to keep everyone safe! Our wedding planner has been working with us closely to have our wedding go as smoothly as possible! What a strange time we are in!! The safety of our friends and family are our number one concern. We have been monitoring Covid-19 very seriously throughout the last few weeks and as of May 26th we have the utmost confidence to proceed with the wedding as planned on June 27th with social distancing guidelines in place. Gov. DeSantis has begun his plans to Re-Open Florida on May 4th, and will continue to move into various phases as the situation allows. We are currently in Phase Two. We have spoken to the Church, the Tampa Gardens Club, and all of our vendors to create a plan that will allow us to practice social distancing, while also having a fun, safe, and healthy wedding day! However, if you are more comfortable staying at home, we completely understand.

Question

What is the Church policy?

Answer

Guests going to the Ceremony will have to Check-in at the front of the Church and will be required to get their temperature checked upon entrance. Due to social distancing, there is limited seating in the Church, so there will be a giant projector with a live stream of the Wedding Ceremony in the Church Center right next to the Church. We will have assigned seating in the Church and extra seating in the Center. You will get your seat assignment when checking in. MASKS ARE TO BE WORN IN BOTH THE CHURCH AND THE CENTER. However, there is much more room in the Church Center, so if you need a breather from the mask, please feel free to step into the back area of the Center and remove your mask for a moment.

Question

TAMPA'S NEW MASK MANDATE?

Answer

The City of Tampa issued a Mask Mandate on Friday, June 19th at 5pm. However, this mandate applies to public locations and the Gardens Club is a PRIVATE venue. Because of this, masks are NOT REQUIRED for the Reception, but please please feel free to wear one if you would like!

Question

WILL THERE BE A WELCOME EVENT THE EVENING BEFORE THE WEDDING?

Answer

We were so excited to have a Welcome Reception for our out of town guests at the Aloft Hotel, where our room block is at. However, because of Covid-19, Aloft is not allowing us to have the Welcome Reception. For those of you coming from out of town, we strongly encourage you to explore Downtown Tampa on the Riverwalk, Ybor City, Hyde Park, and Sparkman's Wharf. All are within about a 10 minute walk from the Aloft Hotel! We can't wait to see you for the Wedding!

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

For all the days along the way
