We are so excited to celebrate with you! Please read the travel details below to help plan your trip. 🛂 Passports & Entry • U.S. passports must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. (Please check now and renew early if needed!) • No visa is required for U.S. tourists staying under 90 days. • You may be required to complete ETIAS (online European travel authorization). Check requirements and apply about 1–2 months before travel. ✈️ Flights & Accommodations • Guests are responsible for booking their own flights and accommodations. • Fly into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). • We recommend arriving 1–2 days before the wedding for rest and sightseeing. • We recommend booking flights 4–6 months before travel to secure the best rates. 🏨 Where to Stay • For the most convenience, especially when it comes to sightseeing, dining, and transportation, we recommend staying in one of these central Rome neighborhoods: • Pantheon • Piazza Navona • Spanish Steps • Trastevere • City Center • Vatican City These areas offer easy access to Rome’s most iconic sights and transportation. Our reception will take place in the Della Vittoria neighborhood, and our church location will be shared once confirmed. As our plans come together, we’ll be happy to share more detailed recommendations to help you choose the perfect place to stay. 🏛️ Sightseeing in Rome • Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel • Colosseum + Roman Forum • Pantheon • Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps •. Dining - 2–4 weeks in advance Tip: Book attractions through official websites and plan dining reservations early, especially for evenings and weekends. We recommend beginning your research as early as 4–6 months in advance for the best options. 🌤️ Weather in October Mild fall weather: 65–75°F (cooler in the evenings).
