Yes! We will have trolley services running between the Kennebunkport Motor Lodge, the Lodge at Turbatt's Creek, and the Rhumb Line Resort to and from the Colony Hotel on the day of the wedding. Trolleys will run from the hotels to The Colony for the Ceremony drop off, and will begin again after the reception until 12am. There is parking on site at The Colony, but please note that space is limited.
Unfortunately, due to peak tourist season none of the hotels have a Mendoza-Hanlon room block. All the lodging accommodations are aware that we have directed guests to inquire for stays at their properties. Please reach out if you are having any challenges booking acommodations!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only celebration. Thank you for understanding!
The ceremony will be in the private garden lawn at The Colony Hotel. Weather depending, this will be an outside wedding so bring your sunglasses and sunscreen. The ceremony space is ADA accessible. You can enter through the main doors and lobby at The Colony Hotel. Signage and Ushers will help in directing guests to the ceremony space.
Maine summers are some of our favorite! Typically bright, sunny, and warm during the day with a slight breeze off the water - then cool and crisp at night once the sun goes down. We recommend bringing sunglasses, wearing sunscreen, and drinking plenty of water while having a light shawl for the end of the night.
Our entrée selections options include vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and seafood-free options to accommodate all guests with dietary restrictions. Please reach out to us with any dietary restrictions or intolerances to ensure we properly communicate them to the chef.
We will still be celebrating our love for each other and all of you! We will not be doing a goodbye breakfast the day after the wedding. Instead for people that are staying for the weekend we HOPE to have a fire on the beach at our favorite beach, Goose Rocks Beach. We will bring pizzas down to the beach for everyone and it will be BYOB. For anyone looking to attend, we ask guests to not bring glass to the beach and also to be mindful of the neighbors as it is a quiet community beach. These plans are subject to fire permit approval from the town.
