Nicholas and Liv met in July of 2017 at the Mendel’s lake house in Williamstown, KY. Liv was there as a guest of her best friend, Tori, who was at the time engaged to Nicholas’s brother, Andrew. Nicholas had quite the memorable first impression. Before jumping into the lake, he ripped off his swim trunks to unveil an American flag speedo with a bald eagle on the back- to say Olivia was smitten would be an understatement. Fast forward about a year, to June, 2018. Tori and Andrew were getting closer and closer to their wedding date. Olivia was asked to be Tori’s maid of honor, and Nicholas was Andrew’s best man. Nicholas and Olivia hadn’t talked to or seen each other much since the lake the previous summer, and, much to Tori and Andrew’s dismay, it didnt seem like they were going to ever be anything more than friends. Then, on the night of Andrew and Tori’s wedding, it all seemed to...click into place. Low and behold, that night Olivia was dancing with her future husband, and Nicholas was holding hands with his future wife. And the rest is history!
Friends and Family- Thank you so much for being part of our special day. Each and every one of y’all have made a huge impact on our lives, and we are forever grateful. It means so much to us both that as we become husband and wife and start our new lives together, that you all will be there to start us on our journey with all the love, support, and advice. We are truly beyond blessed with our health, our support systems, but most importantly in the love that we found in each other. Never did we think we would have found a love so genuine, trusting and full. It’s truly beyond our comprehension how we were blessed to have found each other. To have you all bear witness as we devote outselves to each other and Christ is an honor we cannot even describe. Thank you all again-we’ll see y’all shortly at the wedding!! “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” 1 Corinthians 13:13
