Help Us Be Safe

A Special Request: As we prepare to celebrate our special day, we want to ensure that everyone, especially Danielle, stays safe and healthy. As you may know, Danielle is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and her health is our top priority. If you're feeling unwell in the days leading up to our wedding, we kindly ask that you refrain from attending. We will miss you, but your health and Danielle's are what matter most. We promise to find another opportunity to celebrate with you when everyone is feeling their best. Thank you for your love, understanding, and support during this time.

How We Met

August 2020

Danielle and Will's love story begins in August 2020 with a Hinge message that brought an unexpectedly beautiful bright spot to an otherwise less-than-ideal year (as we all know). Even though they lived in different places—Danielle in Nashville, TN, and Will in Bowling Green, KY—their physical distance didn't prevent them from developing a solid and immediate connection. Their conversations quickly progressed from text messages to late-night phone and video calls, and they knew this was the beginning of something special. Their first in-person date was at a brewery (fitting because of where they both work now), and the connection they had over the phone was even more apparent in person. It wasn't long before Danielle and Will realized they had discovered something exceptional. Which is an excellent segue into their proposal story!

The Proposal

August 2023

First, let's set the stage for this exceptional love story—we're at Danielle and Will's favorite bowling alley, good tunes are playing on the jukebox, and they're surrounded by some of their closest friends. Danielle has no idea what's about to go down. Will had it all planned out. He gave Danielle a new pair of leopard-print bowling shoes, and that's when he was going to make his move. But, excited about these new strike-worthy kicks, Danielle was too quick to try them on, foiling Will's initial proposal plan. Don't worry. Will quickly pivoted. Danielle took to the lane with her new shoes and just happened to roll her first strike of the game. It was go-time. Danielle turned around, expecting to see the usual celebration for someone bowling a strike, but instead, she found Will on one knee with a ring box in his hand. Surrounded by their friends' cheers and the musical musing of the Dead's "They Love Each Other" filling the air, they said 'yes' to a future filled with love, laughter, and, naturally, more bowling.
