What's meant to be will always find a way

They met in an unorthodox way. Ask her how, not him haha. They went on their first date on 12 September 2015. It was casual and comfortable. They met for a movie (The Perfect Man) in Moore, OK and stopped at Pub W in Norman, OK for dinner. OU had an away game against the Tennessee Volunteers. The game went into double overtime but OU ended up winning 31 to 24. Stas had recently moved to Oklahoma to pursue his career in meteorology and chase tornadoes in the tornado capital of the world (Norman, Oklahoma). Stas was born in Volgograd, Russia. His family moved to Maine but settled in Maryland where Stas grew up and later completed his Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. He then moved to Florida to attend FSU for graduate school, obtaining a Master's of Science in Meteorology. Stas took a job as a research meteorologist for the University of Oklahoma and moved to Norman in February 2015. This was his dream location to live in because he grew up watching documentaries and wishing he could have tornadoes in his back yard. MeMe had been at Fort Sill, Oklahoma for almost two years by the time she met Stas. Roughly four months before they met, MeMe had an offer to be stationed in Landstuhl, Germany and live there for three years. This offer is a dream for almost everyone in the military. She would have had to leave within six months. God told her to stay, so she did. She signed a three year contract for one year stability in Oklahoma; four months later, she met Stas. In 2007, they were both at Tyler Junior College but it was not time for them to meet. Stas was there for a baseball game and MeMe went to school there. Little did he know his wife was within a mile away at the time. MeMe and Stas have been together now for over three years.
