Is there parking available near the venue?
Answer
Valet parking is available at the hotel! Free valet parking is available for guests attending the wedding only and not staying overnight at the hotel. All other guests can have the valet parking added to their hotel bill.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors under a tent. The cocktail hour will be outdoors but will be moved indoors in the event of rain. The reception will be indoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
Discounted rooms are available at Hotel Providence. Please call: 1-800-861-8990 and identify the group name Davis-Ellis Wedding. Room Type: Rate: Run of House $269 Junior Suite $319 King Suite $369 GUEST ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIME: Guest check-in time is 4:00 PM and checkout time is 12:00 PM. Rooms will be made available for check-in as soon as possible. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals.

Is there a dress code?

Semi-Formal Attire. For our summer wedding, our ceremony will be held outdoors on a terrace under a tent. We suggest that men wear a lightweight suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.

Average temperatures in RI in June are 75 degrees, with an average low of 58.

Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree.

Is there a wedding registry?
Answer
As we've lived together for several years, we really don't need anything new. But if you were thinking of a gesture to support the union of our love, a gift towards our honeymoon would be welcome. We will set up a cash fund in the coming months. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.
