We’re getting married!

We met in college after a friend introduced us. We were both taking a summer intensive course. My friend showed me around introduced me to everyone. She took me into Melvin's room to introduce us and we clicked. It was a silent connection. Immediate. We left his room and I told my friend that Melvin wasn't friendly, but that was because I already wanted to get to know him better and we had just met.

At midnight on my birthday, I was already in bed and Melvin sent me a text. His text asked me to get his food from the microwave. I got up and went to the microwave and when I opened it there was a note that read "Just Kidding". I walked to the living room wondering what game he was playing. Thinking did he forget it's my birthday! I walked into the living room and he was down on his knee and he asked me to marry him!
