In a nutshell, a progressive cocktail reception is cocktail style all night! There is no traditional place settings, seated dinner and there is no assigned seating. Guests will fill up on hors d'oeuvres and small bites throughout the reception. This allows us to have more substantial food options from Latin American style to Italian American. We want all of our guests to have a variety of food options throughout the night!
Our home base for the weekend is the Arlo Williamsburg Hotel. Please head there after the ceremony and you can enjoy a quick bite or drink at the Lobby Bar before the reception begins at 6pm across the street at the Brooklyn Brewery!
The ceremony location is at Manhattan University's Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers. Please approach the security booth at the front of campus (by the large Manhattan University sign) and let them know you are in attendance for the Gallardo-Minieri wedding to park in the forecourt. If you require ADA accommodation, please let security know and they will direct the driver to drop you off towards Jasper Hall. There is no parking available at the Brooklyn Brewery for the reception. However, there is parking garage, 25 Kent Garage LLC, located at 82 North 13St, Brooklyn, NY 11249 which is .1 miles away from the Brooklyn Brewery. We HIGHLY recommend you book your reservation on the app, Spot Hero, prior to the wedding day to ensure availability.
Yes! The wedding party will be staying at the Arlo Williamsburg for the duration of the wedding. Other options include: The Hoxton, Williamsburg and the CODA Williamsburg hotels. Please view the Travel tab for additional hotel information.
The dress code is cocktail to black tie optional. We want to see you dress to impress! This means that tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are cocktail dresses and suits. No jeans, please! Both the ceremony and reception venues will be air conditioned.
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and will ensure that folks will be around familiar and friendly company. We appreciate your understanding!
We love your little ones - however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (18+) with the exception of children in our immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!
In your RSVP, please make sure you indicate your dietary restrictions.
Our ceremony inside the church will be unplugged. For this, we kindly ask all phones and camera to be put away and there will be no pictures or videos taken. This is extremely important to us. You are more than welcome to take photos and videos throughout the course of the reception! This is such a special day for us and we have the most amazing photography and videography team documenting our entire day, that way you are able to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us!
They will be wearing Dark Green, Eucalyptus and Dusty Sage. Please refrain from wearing full attire in various shades of green. Thank you for your understanding!
