Pastors always joke about finding your future spouse at church, and for Troy & Melonie that was true. In 2015 they met through a mutual friend at church on a Wednesday night. They bonded shortly after at a youth camp over guitar & their dorky sense of humor. Fast forward about a year later, Melonie accepted the invite of a friend to attend a home Bible study, which Troy also attended. When Melonie needed help with her college math course, Troy offered to tutor. They met up in coffee shops and found themselves talking about God & discussing common interests more than they were working on math. After Troy asked Melonie a few times to take her on a date, she finally agreed, and the rest is history!
