Postponed

We met in high school but at that time we were just kids having fun and didn’t think much of it. Fast forward 10 years later, at my sisters wedding, we re-kindled the friendship and that’s where it all started. We started hanging out a lot and got to know each other, we felt a great connection. Although the beginning of the relationship had its rocky start, after just 3 months we both realized this is where we want to be. It just felt so right, since then we have been inseparable.

What a day to remember! It happened during our vacation in Italy, which we spent about 9 days. We started in Venice and worked our way down along the coast. She had initially thought I was going to propose but since I left it for the LAST part of the trip, she had lost all hope. Little did she know I had bought the ring about 5 months prior to our vacation and I had also hired a photographer to capture the magical event! Everything was planned for May 18th in Positano. The plan was to meet our photographer down at the beach by a bar at 6pm and make eye contact to confirm that it’s game time. Once eye contact was made I was to follow her discretely onto the beach until she started taking some random pictures, that would be the signal that this was the exact place and moment she wanted me to propose. We had asked someone to take a picture of us so that Melody could review the photo on the phone as a distraction, at this point it gave me a chance to take the ring out…...and the rest is history.
