We had our official ceremony at one of our favorite waterfalls in TN, Ozone Falls. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Surrounded by loved ones, we expressed our love, commitment, and vows to one another. Even though we chose to keep the ceremony small we are so excited to get to celebrate our union with our extended family and friends.

One evening Melody went into a local bar to have a quick drink before heading home. She ran into a friend who as at the bar, so she pulled up a seat. Her friend was with another person Melody had never met. They are all joking and laughing about how hard and crappy it is to meet people on dating apps. All of sudden the random friend looked at Melody and said I know a great girl who also likes girls and pulls out his phone. Now, Melody thought she was about to scroll through a Facebook or Instagram profile however this friend had called his friend and promptly handed Melody the phone and said here talk to Kailtlin! Even though Kaitlin was at home sick she was an excellent sport. Numbers were exchanged, many text conversations ensued, a first date was planned, and the rest is history.
