We were both working at walmart together. We had seen each other around, but never had the courage to speak to one another at the time. Valentine’s Day was quickly approaching. I was preparing to take lunch one afternoon and we passed each other by the flower display at self checkout. He made a sly comment. In return, I asked him where my flowers were. He commented back that they must have been mistakenly delivered to the wrong person. He then found me on Facebook and I immediately responded to his request. Then, I found his snapchat and we instantly started snapping and just hit it off. We were hanging out a few days later and just clicked. We knew then, we were meant to be together. It’s been a long, windy road. But, here we are, planning our forever!❤️
I thought it was never going to happen. I feel as though I waited a lifetime for him to make the big move. I came home from work on my birthday and he had a whole setup with family there. He had bought a cake and had our girls write “will you marry our dustin” on it. He had chickfila nuggets and honey mustard and fries sat beside the cake, as he knows that is my absolute favorite meal. And a gorgeous display of my favorite flowers. The girls were singing happy birthday to me and I blew out the candles. When I turned around, there he was, down on one knee.❤️
