We met 12 years go though a mutual friend. I had just gotten out of a long relationship and was looking to get my feet wet in dating again. My co-worker friend decided to give me a push with a friend of hers. It was supposed to be a fling. But after talking on the phone for about a week I was ready to meet Climmie in person. He was very handsome and charming. After about a month of dating we knew that this was much more than a fling. We made plans to move in together. After living together for 7 years we had a son, Aayden. We decided to marry but could never agree on the timing and what kind of wedding we wanted. In the beginning of this year we decided that we didn't need a wedding. In June while I was at church my pastor offered a "Cohabitation Challenge". The challenge was for cohabitating couples to complete 10 weeks of premarital counseling. At the end of the 10 weeks he would provide a wedding complete with wedding dress, tuxedo, ring, flowers, photography and a limited small reception for free. We decided to take the challenge. We were married on September 7, 2019. Now we would like to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends at a lovely reception on October 26, 2019!
