There are so many beautiful trails here! This National Park is an outstanding experience and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're not a hiker, the most popular attraction is Bear Lake. You park, walk to the trailhead, and go around the lake. If you are a hiker, There are so many trails! Try the Sky Pond, Emerald Lake, or Lake Haiyaha trail. I've done them all, and they are all fantastic! Just be sure to check out Alltrails to see if they're within your ability.
Check out the iconic Red Rocks Amp! The park is open to the public until sunset, or only till 2pm if there's an event that night. There's also a nice, easy trail that goes through/around the rock formations that I would highly recommend. It's called the Red Rocks Trading Post Trail. Before you start, be sure to take a look at the view from the Trading Post back yard!
Take a stroll out into the front range and enjoy a nice hot spring! They offer a bigger heated mineral pool or private springs. The weather is chillier in the mountains, so it may be great, cool weather for it!
The Botanic Gardens are a pretty scene in the heart of Denver. Late April is prime time for spring blooms, so take advantage of that!
The highest elevation zoo in the country! Check out some unique exhibits at a unique zoo!
This iconic mountain has so many trails of varying difficulty levels. I would highly recommend it for anyone. The view is excellent! Just be sure to get there kind of early...
Take a tour of the iconic Coors brewery! I've seen some of the pint glasses they offer, and they make some really great souvenirs. I have yet to go personally, but it's on the to-go list!
It's a daunting 26 mile hike, but you can easily reach the peak via road or the Cog. If you've never been to 14k feet, it's a pretty nice feeling. Be sure to pack warm clothes, though!
While you're at the hot springs, enjoy some Colorado style pizza! It's a thick crusted pie served with warm honey. The pizza itself is the main course, and the crust serves as dessert with the honey!
Are you daring enough to hike the infamous incline?? It's only 2,768 steps...
A very touristy, but pretty unique park. You get to drive or hike around a small area to see very unique red rocks. I made it sound kind of lame, but it is cool to see.
