Maid of Honor
Tobi is my sister, well not literally but she’s so much more than just a best friend. Since the very first day I saw her and I motioned for her to come sit next to me almost 14 years ago, we’ve been inseparable. We’ve literally talked about our wedding day all our life and I couldn’t celebrate this day without her being right next to me. We’ve been through so much together and though a lot has changed in our lives, one thing will forever be constant and that’s us being a part of each other’s journeys. Distance will never change anything for us, wether we live in the same state or not we’re doing life together. So blessed to have her in my life.
Best Man
I remember spending the night at his place for the first time as a kid with Kazeem, you’ll meet him later. We played FIFA, cracked inappropriate jokes to each other while we showed heavy symptoms of sleep deprivation. I knew we would end up being close friends. We’ve been privileged to share the same passions over the years like poetry, basketball and Jesus just to name a few. One of my biggest forms of accountability and oldest relationships to date, and definitely one I wouldn't trade for the world. Frankly, I couldn't imagine this day occurring without him.
Maid of Honor
Literally one of the longest friendships I’ve had in my life. Adesuwa and I have know each other since we were little kids. When Tobi, Adesuwa and I were little, we used to talk about how we would be each others maid of honor when we were getting married. So grateful that I’ll be the first to make it happen! This day wouldn’t be the same without Adesuwa being right there with me. Adesuwa is one of those people in life that you know will always have your back no matter what. She’s such a big part of who I am today and will forever be one of my life long sisters and I’ll always be her Jun Jun.
Best Man
Sophomore year of highschool, I met this lightskin kid and we immediately became friends. From his lies about beating me in basketball (never happened), to his wild African jokes, to countless reminders that I was more than just a friend to him, to moments where distance slowed our communication, Mike remained loyal to me. He has helped shaped what love looks like even with the inconvenience of time and distance. Couldn't dream of this day happening without him present.

Y’all know my girl Mercy had to be part of this special day with me. She is sooo funny and goofy! And I know I’m going to need a whole lot of her energy around me on this day. Mercy can make a stressful day in your life the funniest just by being herself. I couldn’t imagine celebrating this big day without her with me. And this girl can dance! So excited for you all to see how she scatters the dance floor on that day.
Groomsman
Growing up they used to think that Andrew and I were twins. I never understood why, but now that I'm older I realize that we were blessed with a bond that most brothers don't have. My ties to him go beyond familial, he's one of my closest friends and one of the funniest people I know. Extremely goofy! If he wasn't in my wedding party, I probably would look for him in the crowd throughout the night just so we could share a laugh or five. Can't wait till you all see the energy he's coming with!

Alaina is one of the reasons why we even get to celebrate this special day. I’m so happy that her and I became such good friends so fast. She has been such a wonderful friend to me and her heart is truly gold. Not only did she help me get adjusted to living in Ohio, she introduced me to my best friend and future husband. Please help me thank her for listening to her mom and being part of setting us up together. Her family has basically become my family now and this day wouldn’t even be possible without them. Can’t imagine saying “I do” without her with me on that day.
Groomsman
Probably one of the quickest, closest relationships I've ever formed in my life. We've had so many nights filled with dream talking and ways to execute. He took my love for the game of basketball to another level when I experienced his. The best part is we are still dreaming together. Even though the art looks different from bouncing a ball on hardwood floors, we are still making art. Be careful, he’s one of the funniest and funnest personalities you will ever come across

Michelle is such a special person to me. Though we haven’t know each other for very long, she’s one of those people who you just know you want in your life forever. Michelle has not only been there for me physically but spiritually as well. She has been a big part of me and Anthony’s journey and I couldn’t imagine her not being part of this special day with me. She’s so full of wisdom beyond her years and has the kindest heart. I’m so grateful I have someone like her who I can always depend on.
Groomsman
Easily one of the most talented and funniest individuals I've ever known. When we first met, it probably was no secret that I enjoyed being around him because it seemed like he easily pulled creativity out of me that I never thought I had. Our friendship grew instantly and I have had nothing but love and respect for him till this day. Catch him on the dance floor, he's a sneaky smooth operator!
Groomsman
Kazeema! Another friendship that goes over a decade and it's still running. He was with me in majority of the moments in my childhood that invovled me having a headache from constantly laughing. We don't talk as much because he's too busy for me now, but I cherish our friendship and the growth that has occured over the years. Can't wait to see him suited up with me and the gang!

When Faithful first moved out here and joined our family, I don’t think I really understood the fact that I now had a sister. We bumped heads a little at first because I now had to share my clothes with someone else and that wasn’t very easy for me. The more I got to know her the more I started to see myself in her and It’s been so wonderful to see how she’s grown into the woman she is today. She has a very caring, loving, wonderful heart and I’m so blessed to call her my sister. This day wouldn’t be the same without her being a part of it.

I remember being Joshua's age and my head was not sitting that well on my shoulders. It's great to see him grow as an athlete, artist, first born Nigerian son, (yeah that's a big role to have) and a man. We've gotten closer over the past year and I’m grateful for that. Also, if you're looking for a guitarist to help serenade your significant other or to set the mood while you pop the question, he's your guy!

My newest baby sister! She doesn’t want to admit it but I know she has grown to love me and I’m so happy that on the day I marry her brother she legally becomes my sister. Abigail is so funny, the very first day we met she had a literal panic attack cause she was so nervous to meet me. Funny thing is, I was just as nervous to meet her and now I’m so grateful that we’ve become so close. Excited for you guys to see the dance moves she’s been practicing for the wedding day!
Groomsman
He don't be texting back, to be honest, but that's my brother-in-law and imma stick beside him. Jokes aside, before we ever met and spoke I admired him. He seemed super funny and deep, wrapped up in a creative and unique aesthetic. I was right. Frankly, I was just a huge fan. Looking forward to celebrating and sharing the dance floor with him!
