Our story started back in 2016 at Alamo Cafe in San Antonio, Texas… Alamo Cafe was a cool place for young people to go eat and get some of their famous queso and homemade tortillas. Melody was a frequent patron of Alamo Cafe and avid queso lover. Andrew was a soccer playing waiter at Alamo Cafe. One day, Melody, locked eyes with her cute waiter, Andrew, and an unspoken, mutual crush began to develop. Melody would often call the restaurant to ask if Andrew was working. She then would make plans with any and all friends and family willing to accompany her for some fajitas and queso (and to see Andrew again). This continued for months, until Melody finally mustered up the courage to leave her phone number on a receipt with the note “text me”. Andrew, shocked, yet grinning with glee, texted Melody as soon as she left. After a few years of missed texts and canceled dates, Andrew and Melody’s timeline finally matched up! In 2018, Andrew asked Melody on a date, and the rest is history!
