We're getting married!

In 2020, Amanda was living in Pittsburgh after finishing OT school in Philadelphia and went to a Super Bowl party at a mutual friends house. Matt recently moved back to Pittsburgh after finishing PA school in Philadelphia. The two made some small talk during commercials at the party and when Matt put chili on his mac and cheese during half time, Amanda knew she was interested! Amanda decided she was going to ask Matt out the next time they saw each other which happened to be St. Patrick's Day celebrations downtown. Amanda told Matt "You should take me to dinner sometime" which he responded with "Maybe I will!" Unfortunately, right after St. Partick's day 2020 the world shut down due to COVID 19 and the two were not able to see each other for several months. They began deepening their relationship and getting to know each other over the early days of the pandemic though texting and facetiming! Matt was finally able to take her out to dinner in June when things began opening up. They both enjoyed brisket mac and cheese, and the rest is history!
