Bride & Groom
They hardly need an introduction (you're literally here because of them!). They’re tying the knot - and you’re part of the celebration that means the world to them.
Maid of Honor
Abby and Jo first met in secondary school, though their story began earlier on MSN - where Abby initially blocked Jo for being the “weird Year 6” who wouldn’t stop messaging her. Thankfully, the enthusiastic messaging eventually became a welcome constant. Opposites in personality - Abby calm and steady, Jo full of energy and antics - their friendship has only grown stronger. From family Christmases to wild girls’ holidays (including the memorable job of keeping Abby in line in Magaluf), they’ve shared endless laughter, loyalty, and late-night chats. Now, Jo is not only Abby’s best friend but also her maid of honour, expertly helping her navigate everything from tricky dresses to trips to the loo - and keeping the drinks flowing on the big day.
Best Man
From their very first day of Year Seven to supporting Exeter City together, Oli and George have never been far apart. Whether it’s been school days, football matches, or questionable life choices, Oli has always been right there by George’s side - an enthusiastic partner in a long list of questionable decisions. Given that track record, George is both excited and slightly nervous about what Oli might say in his speech…
Best Man
Jack and George go way back - all the way to preschool, where they first bonded as the only two kids wearing glasses (true friendship is built on shared poor eyesight). Years later, once they got their driver’s licenses, they were so excited to hit the road… but with absolutely nowhere to go, many Saturday evenings were spent parked up in Lapford car park. Over the years, Jack has become the person George turns to for advice on just about everything - always calm, thoughtful, and endlessly supportive. George couldn’t imagine the day without him by his side.
Bridesmaid
Abby’s sister and unofficial wedding coordinator - Caitlin has been nothing short of a superhero. She somehow spent her maternity leave juggling baby Mason’s nappies and nap times while helping to plan every last detail of the big day (including building this very website). From dress fittings to spreadsheets, she’s been there through it all - with love, fierce organisation, and a truly remarkable amount of patience. Of course, this isn’t her first time playing the role of Abby’s quiet champion. Caitlin once coached her through a history exam (which, after some dramatic resistance, resulted in Abby’s best-ever mark) and has been the secret force behind every job Abby’s landed. In short: none of this would be happening without her. Abby may be the one saying “I do,” but Caitlin’s the one who made sure everything actually got done.
Bridesmaid
The calm in the chaos, Lucy and Abby didn’t exactly hit it off when they first crossed paths. They were brought back together when they started working at the same Nursery. What began as colleagues grew into a true friendship, one that’s lasted well beyond the staff room and into life’s biggest moments. Now, Lucy proudly stands beside Abby as a bridesmaid, proving that first impressions aren’t everything.
Groomsman
Robin was four years old when he first met George - who was just two - by confidently knocking on Mandie’s (George’s mum’s) front door and walking straight in. He didn’t wait for an invitation or ask if George wanted to play… he simply decided they were going to be friends. Now, Robin is not only a lifelong friend and groomsman but also the MC - bringing his confidence and charm to guide the day. He’s truly the closest thing George has to a brother.
Groomsman
Bonded by a shared love of beer, football, and Marvel films, Shane and George have spent countless evenings deep in conversation - mostly about the most wonderfully pointless things imaginable. Their dedication to the game once saw them embark on a 14-hour round trip to Manchester… to watch a 0–0 draw. It’s that kind of loyalty (and madness) that makes Shane the perfect person to stand by George on the big day.
Groomsman
Whilst he may not have intended to play matchmaker, we have Kieran to thank for introducing Abby and George in the first place. Kieran and George became friends through their shared love of Exeter City FC and music, bonding over match days and concerts (some more memorable than others!). Towards the end of 2024, Abby and George somehow convinced Kieran and his Wife Georgia, to move into the house opposite theirs. Since then, friendships have only grown stronger. Kieran and George have shared countless laughs, spontaneous evenings and more than a few late night - many of which, unsurprisingly, ended at the London Inn.
Page Boy
The youngest (and possibly cutest) member of the wedding party, Mason is Abby and George’s adorable nephew, already stealing hearts wherever he goes. He may not remember much of the day, but he’s sure to bring plenty of smiles… and maybe a few wobbly steps - down the aisle.
