On June 10, 2020, a warm evening at Hangovers Bar and Grill in Killeen, I was waiting for a friend to join me for a meetup. The atmosphere was lively and filled with laughter. Little did I know that this evening would change my life. As I sat there, I noticed Jesse walk in with his friend Detrice. As I passed their table, Jesse caught my eye and, with a charming smile, stopped me to strike up a conversation. He asked if I’d like to join them, so I plopped down there beside him eagerly taking his fries. I was wearing my Real Estate name tag, which seemed to pique Jesse's interest. He was sporting a Keller Williams shirt adorned with his team logo, and soon enough, we were deep in conversation about our shared passion for real estate. We talked about our experiences, the ins and outs of the industry, and exchanged stories that made us both laugh. Who knew discussing property values could be so electrifying? I mean, we were practically the Beyoncé and Jay-Z of the real estate world at that moment. As the night came to a close, Jesse took the leap and asked me for my number. I gave him my business card in straight Real Estate fashion. Little did I know, that spontaneous encounter would be the beginning of our beautiful journey together.
