What will the weather be like?

Answer

In Colorado, you never know! It could be sunny and 60F, or it could be quite chilly. We recommend packing layers for likely moderate temperatures during the day and cooler nights.

What if it's too cold out for the ceremony?

Answer

Although we love the idea of getting married under the starts (even if it's a little chilly!) if it's way too cold (approximately less than 40 F) the ceremony will be moved inside. But like we said - please bring a warm jacket.

What's the attire?

Answer

Officially, "cocktail." Think fun, dressed up Saturday night out, but don't take things too seriously.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, between certain hotels and and the venue - see "Travel" section for more information.

What are good hikes in the area?

Answer

We are HUGE fans of using AllTrails.com to figure the perfect hike for any given day - you can search by distance from Golden, length of trail, and elevation gain. Some places we love nearby are Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Mount Galbraith Park, and Windy Saddle Open Space. (We still recommend using All Trails to help plan ahead which of the trails in these places work for your needs).
