Explore the 1,000-acre Saddlerock Ranch and vineyard in Malibu. Your trusty guide will lead the adventure on open-air Safari vehicles. You'll make stops along the way to take in the scenery, taste local wines, and get up close and personal with animals you never knew were Angelinos too: zebras, camels, alpacas, bison, and even Stanley the Giraffe - all just 30 minutes from LA.
If you're looking to enjoy the outdoors, the Malibu Creek State Park is perfect for you! Considered the recreational crown jewel of the Santa Monica Mountains, this State Park has over 8,000 acres of rolling tallgrass plains, oak savannahs, and dramatic peaks. It's no wonder many call it "The Yosemite of Southern California."
Fun fact: Melissa's first serving job was at the P.F. Chang's here! Also, there have been quite a few Kardashian spottings at The Lakes ;)
Any last-minute shopping can definitely be done here! The Oaks is an open-air and enclosed shopping center featuring Macy's, Nordstrom, Muvico 14 Theaters and over 180 shops and restaurants.
If you're looking to visit the beach, then this pier is definitely a must-see! With a restaurant, coffee-shop, and cafe, you get the yummiest food and the best views!
The Village is our go-to date night place! We highly recommend eating out at JOEY Woodland Hills if you have the chance. We also recommend shopping at the Topanga Mall as it's a 2.1 million-square-foot, two-level shopping center with so much to do!
Ventura's Historic Downtown Cultural District is permeated by early California history. Historic homes, museums, boutiques, Mission San Buenaventura, antique shops and restaurants adorn their palm tree-lined streets. We love going to Downtown Ventura for spontaneous date-nights!
We are very lucky to have this historic library in our home-town! Fun fact: Austin had his high-school prom here!
