Despite COVID 19, our plans are going forward as expected. We are asking that everyone wear a mask. We will have some disposable masks available on site in case you need one. Our venue is able to handle the amount of guests we have invited and still follow social distancing protocols. We fully understand if you are not comfortable attending the wedding due to the pandemic. We chose to go forward with our plans because we felt it could be done safely, but we do not expect you to do anything you do not feel safe doing. We love you all and hope to celebrate with you - even if that means we see you at a later date.
Kristen Rayca is a mutual friend of Melissa and Frank. She felt that the two would make a great couple and decided to make it happen. In 2016 she invited Melissa to Frank’s Memorial Day party. It was a rainy and hot day. From the moment Melissa rocketed her car up the embankment to park in the corn field that the guests were using, Frank knew this girl would be interesting. For the next six weeks, Melissa and Frank spent more and more time together as friends. By the end of July, they were a couple. A few short months later, Frank and Joe became buddies. Fast forward to December 2019. Joe bought his mommy a ring from a school Christmas gift event. It came in a shiny little plastic ring box. After giving the ring to his mom, Joe handed the ring box to Frank and said “Frank, use this to give my mom a ring”. Frank and his brother had already ordered the ring. Frank planned to propose on Christmas Eve before visiting family. But a freak snowstorm in Tennessee foiled the plans. The ring remained lost for an entire month. Finally, on January 15, 2020, Frank used that little ring box and Melissa said yes.
Instead of having a hashtag or disposable cameras on the tables, we would love it if our guests could share the photos of the day with us using a photo sharing app! Please download "The Guest" on your phone and use the invitation code : "MelissaFrank21". Please note that the app automatically sets to "auto-share" every photo taken during the hours of our wedding day. You can easily turn this feature off and share only the photos you want to share (either that night or the next day). This app is free and easy to uninstall.
