FAQs

Question

Do I need a Passport?

Answer

Yes!! You must have a passport.

Question

Are kids allowed in the wedding?

Answer

We love your children! We honestly do! Unfortunately, Children are not allowed in the ceremony or reception since this is an adults only event. For families who want to travel with children please have a babysitter (Teen or older sibling) to care for the little ones during the wedding. Wedding is on April 1 2023 from 5 PM - 12 AM :) You are welcome to spend the rest of the time enjoying your family the days before or after the wedding. Children are welcome to the resort since it is a family friendly resort with lots of activities for them.

Question

How do I reserve the room and When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 1, 2023. I need a full guest count by then. You RSVP by putting down the $100 deposit for the room. To do this you must call our travel agent Yanira Rondon Lora @ 347-981-0100 to reserve your room. She will get you the best price.

Question

What should I pack for the trip?

Answer

Please pack everything you need for a great vacation. Sunscreen is a MUST! A hat for protection. You might want to bring water shoes for excursions. Sandals and light clothing. Water proof case for cellphone. Dress codes around the resort are casual-focused, and of course a bathing suit is imperative for any good time in the Caribbean. Dinner time brings more tropic-chic atmosphere and late night entertainment finishes each day. We recommend all be prepared with simple but presentable attire for restaurants in the evening. Helpful hint - bring an insulated cup to keep those cocktails or beers cold in the sun, and of course sunscreen is a key necessity. Towels are provided everywhere, so save yourself the suitcase space! You're welcome to tip staff at your own discretion to acknowledge outstanding service, and if so dollar bills are accepted anywhere at the resort. Last but not least, don't forget to pack any important medication you take on a daily basis and any medication that can help cure hangovers or even a stomach bug, Its better to be prepared :)

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

It is black tie event. I expect everyone to be their best dressed. Sandals and shorts are not permitted.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of ceremony and reception, we are asking that plus ones be reserved for spouses or committed partnerships. Please check with either Wilson or Melissa if you have any questions or concerns.

Question

How will we communicate while at the resort?

Answer

Please download the WhatsApp on your phone. This app can be used with the resorts wifi. I will also be doing a group chat through this app so I can update you all with any information including daily activities and meet up’s.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your company to celebrate this day with us is the only thing we ask for. Making memories that will last a lifetime is all we need. Please do not feel obligated to give us a gift.

Question

What does “A la carte” mean?

Answer

Restaurants that are “A la carte” are restaurants that must be reserved ahead of time. You can do this by going to the front desk. I would suggest you do this the same day you get to the resort so you get the the best times.
