Midway or ORD

O’Hare Is Bigger and Busier, but Midway Is Convenient for Domestic Travel With either, you should check traffic before taking rideshare or a taxi. If it is more than 40 minutes then take the CTA into the loop. Midway is much less busy than O’Hare. It’s closer to downtown, and rideshare can get you from Midway to the Loop in just over 20 minutes (without traffic, of course). While Midway may not have the same range of international options, it offers many domestic flights and a more stress-free travel experience. Further, Southwest Airlines, a popular choice for low-cost domestic travel, only operates flights out of Midway.

There are lots of fun spaces available for rent on AirBNB. Consider renting a condo in the loop if you'd like a kitchen or more space. A search for "Chicago Loop" or "Downtown Chicago" will bring up locations near the hotel. Please note, most of these units will not come with parking. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Parking Near the Hotel

Parking at the hotel is pretty expensive at $55 per night. Try using Spot Hero website/app. There are many garages and lots within a few blocks of the hotel that are significantly less expensive and a short walk.
