FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 30th.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see you all in cocktail attire. This is November in the Pacific Northwest so it may be cold and rainy, but the ceremony and reception are inside. The venue has a lot of vintage charm so feel free to have fun with it!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation to see if you have a plus one.

Question

How do I get there from the Portland Airport?

Answer

There are shuttles, taxis, and rental car services available. If you are interested in sharing a shuttle for a lower rate, reach out to Melissa and she can help coordinate with others looking to share!

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

We’ve blocked off rooms just for our guests in the hotel. We hope this will make it easy so you don’t have to worry about transportation after the reception. If you’d like to stay in the hotel with us, you can book your room with the link provided on the Location and Lodging page. Please book your room by October 1st.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We know you will be traveling to be with us on our special day so we do not expect gifts. If you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon fund you would be helping us take the trip of a lifetime to Belize!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’d love for you to take this opportunity to have an evening away to relax, celebrate, and take a night off. However, we understand there are many little ones that might need to come! If they become restless or need a moment, please feel free to step outside to help them settle comfortably. Please let us know if you are bringing your kiddos and thank you for helping us keep the ceremony peaceful for everyone!

Question

I have dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?

Answer

We hope that what we have chosen for dinner will have options for everyone, including those who are gluten free and vegan. Feel free to ask questions if you are concerned.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that the ceremony remain unplugged and let our wonderful photographer do what she does best. Thank you!

For all the days along the way
