One night whilst scrolling through Bumble, wine in hand, Melissa saw a cute English boy she'd never seen before on any dating apps. Having been single for 8 years, this was a rare find! Meanwhile, Simon was scrolling through Bumble, when he saw a gorgeous girl he imagined he had no chance in matching with but thought wine not! A Friday night date in the city at Fringeworld and a follow-up invite to watch the Australia Day fireworks on Simon's apartment balcony in South Perth and the rest is history!

After 13 blissful, inseparable months together, Simon decided Melissa was the wine that he wanted and put a ring on it. Simon had planned a day in the Swan Valley (not all that uncommon) but Melissa was a little suspicious. With a romantic trip to the Barossa Valley coming up, Melissa had pushed any thoughts of an engagement in the Swan Valley out of mind.
