While walking around Kennebunkport’s central part of town, you’ll likely notice a white ship docked on the river. The Spirit of Massachusetts, a traditional schooner style ship originally launched in Boston harbor and now a town staple — and watering hole — in Kennebunkport.

First Families Kennebunkport Museum

The First Families Museum, located inside White Columns, contains the only exhibition about President George H.W. Bush in Kennebunkport. This one-room exhibit offers a comprehensive look at the life of our 41st President. It includes a permanent photo timeline of his life prior to and including his tenure in the White House. In addition to the permanent display, the gallery also features rotating collections of Bush Family memorabilia and artifacts. If you are into this, also check out Walker Point, just don't try to drive through the gates.
