Sam and I met on a dating app and quickly became interested in each other. We both share a passion for reading and learning, which brought us closer. After chatting for a couple of weeks online, we decided to meet in person. Our first date was a little nerve-wracking for me since it was my first time going on a first date. However, it turned out to be amazing! We had a great time and didn't want the night to end! We dated for a long time, moved in together last August, and now we are so thrilled to be getting married!

Who is going to take out the trash? Whoever notices that it needs to be done! We strive to share all the housework equally. The only exceptions are that it is my job to scoop the litter box and Sam always does the laundry. What was your most memorable date? Our most memorable date was definitely our first one! We went to a delicious barbeque restaurant called Country Tavern in Kilgore. We ate and ate and talked forever. We weren’t ready for the date to end, so we drove to Andy’s, an ice cream place, and ate ice cream and talked some more. Sam even got chocolate ice cream on her shirt, it was adorable! What is your favorite activity together? It may sound boring, but we really love doing all the little things together! What’s the most memorable trip you have taken together? This past New Year’s we took an epic trip to Walt Disney World with Melissa’s three kids and Sam’s mom. We had the best time and walked 61 miles! We are on the same page about: 1. No number of cats is too many. 2. A fully stocked candy bowl and books should be in every room of the house. The dorkiest thing about us is: We love to read our favorite books out loud to each other!
