We're Engaged!

Back in 2013 Ryan and Mel were in HS focused on what college they wanted to attend and what the future would hold for them. They found each other without even looking! Ryan challenged Mel to a game of Fun Run and the rest is history! They enjoyed many dates at Spurs games and HS sporting events. Mel even skipped Prom to go to a Spurs game with Ryan!

Ryan and Mel have shared a love for beignets and the French Quarter since 2018! They enjoy spending a week there during the Christmas season. So it only made sense for them to get engaged in the blues capital of the world. Ryan planned a fairytale proposal, something straight out of a Disney movie! A private Gondola ride on the Bella Mae throughout NOLA City Park! Romantic music and breathtaking views. It seemed as if they were the only two in the park on that Sunday afternoon... After some time Ryan takes a deep breath and gathers the courage to ask Mel to MARRY HIM! Let's just say Mel could not have said YES faster! Geaux Ryan!
