Getting to Red Springs Boardwalk

Answer

You will need to pay the $20.00 Amenity Fee per vehicle and $2.00 reservation fee for a total of $22.00. If you have an American the Beautiful Pass, such as an Annual Pass, Senior Pass, Access Pass, Military Pass, etc., this will cover the amenity fee, but not the $2.00 reservation fee. Go to https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10075177 to make a timed entry reservation for 10/22 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM and pay the fee ahead of time. This provides access for one private vehicle, with an allowance for a 30-minute early arrival. Once entered, visitors can stay the entire duration of the day that the Scenic Drive is open to the public. We will also email you a permit to keep on your phone in case anyone is asked to present one. If anyone would like to carpool, please let us know and we can help coordinate!

Not exactly ;) Your love and well-wishes are the most important gifts of all. However, if you would like to contribute in another way, a monetary gift will help us as we plan to purchase our first home! We have a home down payment fund posted on our registry through Zola!

Will there be chairs?

We realize it’s a bit of a funny question. While chairs are not provided, you are welcome to bring your own. Although we don't expect to be out there for very long, feel free to bring camping chairs if you'd like to be more comfortable.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area enjoys an average of 294 sunny days annually :) However, temperatures in late October can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a jacket just in case. Since we'll be outside on the boardwalk without any shelter, you might want to bring an umbrella if you prefer some shade.
