What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please aim to arrive between 2:15 and 2:30. No later than 2:45 pm. We will start promptly at 3.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Formal attire is also welcome.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. The cocktail hour will be outdoors unless there is inclement weather.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will be very warm! It tends to lightly rain in the afternoon but not for very long. It will be humid. However, most activities will be indoors.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Please see the schedule for directions if needed. Transportation will not be provided.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available on site. There are some spots in front of and around the church. There is also overflow parking on the southeast corner of Ringling Boulevard and Palm Avenue, diagonally across from the church campus. It’s called Strawberry Hill. There will be a valet for reception parking.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding and reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate children at the wedding. The reception will be 18+. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What’s the best way to let you know?

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for the first 3 hours of the reception followed by a cash only bar for the last hour.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes. There are 20 rooms available. Please see the travel section on the website.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

No. Unfortunately the church has a strict no cellphone policy and no cellphone use for photos or recording is permitted.

The deadline to RSVP is July 15 2024.

I’m visiting from out of town. What can I do while I’m in Sarasota?

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to the wedding please consider donating to our honeymoon fund.
