After getting engaged on Saturday, March 14, 2020, we had no idea what the next six months would hold. We both envisioned having a large gathering of family and friends at Overture Center for the Arts in downtown Madison, but after several weeks started rolling by with increased hesitation across the globe and shrinking gathering limits in our area, that vision did not seem to be in the cards during the pandemic. Nevertheless, we held on to our bigger dream of being married to one another and decided to enjoy a small ceremony and gathering outside on September 12, 2020. We are so grateful to our family and friends who helped us make that beautiful day happen with utmost safety so we could enjoy our journey and celebration of becoming one. Fully treasuring the joy of our wedding day, we still dreamed of a large party with great food, live music, and lots of dancing, with all the people we love... which brings us to November 6, 2021 -- our "Happily Ever After Party" -- an opportunity to re-create our wedding day, renew our vows, and celebrate with you all.
