What should I wear? Is there a dresscode?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/ creative black-tie. We invite you to wear the wedding color palette which is sunset tones and neutrals. Examples of what you can wear include cocktail dresses dressy jumpsuits, LBDs, suit and tie, sports coats, slacks and button ups. We do ask that you abstain from wearing colors that traditionally a bride would wear (i.e. white, off-white, ivory). Both ceremony and reception will be held at A View in Fontenelle Hills.

What time should I arrive?

We ask you to please arrive no earlier than 4 o'clock. But please be on time! We cannot wait to start the party!

Our venue offers ample free parking.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both! The ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late September weather is our favorite. We usually expect a light breeze and sunny, warm weather. Temperatures go from 82°F to 72°F, rarely falling below 59°F or exceeding 92°F.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What happens after the ceremony?

Please enjoy the cocktail hour! There will be drinks, music and snacks with the reception to follow.

Please do! Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony so at that time you will be asked to leave your phone aside, but after that, it is game on! Don't hesitate to tag us and using our hashtag #TheValNugs
