FAQs

Question

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

Yes, please!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

During the day Friday and Saturday we’d recommend comfortable clothes and bathing suits. Evening will probably cool off a bit. There will be a place to shower and change clothes on Saturday before the wedding ceremony so you wouldn’t have to drive home, change, and come back.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is PLENTY of parking on site.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Just as soon as you can as this will help us with the catering options and party supply rentals.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. We’ve registered through this same ZOLA company we’ve used for the website.

Question

Will there be food and drinks provided?

Answer

Yes. We will provide lunch and dinner on both Friday and Saturday. Additionally, we will be providing drinks for the kiddos as well as beer and wine for the adults. Feel free to bring your own set ups if you’d like something else.

Question

What about sunscreen and bug spray?

Answer

We’ll be providing both sunscreen and bug spray.

Question

Will there be activities for the kiddos and grown ups?

Answer

Oh yes! We will have tons of indoor and outdoor games and yard fun. There is a half basketball court, a perfect area in the lake in front of the house that forms a little shallow bay for swimming. We’ll be playing bocce, corn hole, and croquet. We’ll also have some footballs and frisbees to toss around.

Question

It’s on the lake, is there anywhere to fish?

Answer

Yes! Bring your poles if you have them! Plenty of fun fishing spots for the kiddos.

Question

Is there a pool for swimming?

Answer

No, there is no pool, but the property is lakeside and there is a great spot for swimming in the lake right in front of the house. You know your kids swimming abilities better than anyone else so if you’d like to bring floaties or life jackets, bring them along. On that note, if you’d like to bring any floats or noodles etc., please do!
