What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Chapel at Gruene in New Braunfels.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in an open air chapel and the reception will be held indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the outdoor bar area where beverages will be served during a cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is ample free parking located near the chapel.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults (17 & up) event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block, but there is a hotel 5 minutes from the venue (Wingate by Wyndham New Braunfels) & there are several others nearby as well as many VRBOs & Airbnbs. It will be summertime, which is peak vacation season, so we recommend booking sooner rather than later.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

After the wedding ceremony, we will have an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a selection of wine, beer and cocktails.

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will be providing a buffet style meal.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our home as well as a honeymoon fund. A link to our wedding registry can be found here on our wedding website.
