We’re getting married!

Nick and Melissa met in college at Gwynedd Mercy Univerisity. They were both freshmen, and ended up living on the same floor in the dorms. A few months into college Nick decided to test a theory which was: if you blow on your thumb hard enough will you pass out? The answer is... YES. He passed out, gave himself a concussion from hitting the floor so hard and when he regained consciousness he knocked on Melissa’s door asking for excedrin. That’s where their friendship began. Fast forward about a year and a half, their friendship grew into a relationship. They had an English class together (Yes, we all know who got the better grade) which brought them closer and closer together. Several dates later, on July 21st, 2016, Nick built up the courage to ask Melissa to be his girlfriend before a night out in Philadelphia. A few months later, Melissa dropped the “L bomb” after a few too many drinks (shocker) and Nick responded with “Tell me when you’re sober”. The next morning she told him again, and Nick responded with “I love you too”. After spending 4 1/2 years together as boyfriend and girlfriend, a house, and two handsome pups, Nick finally proposed to Melissa on Christmas Eve, 2020. They are so excited to continue their journey with becoming husband and wife on July 22, 2022.
