Melissa: So, Nas and I met online, though it wasn't an immediate connection, I was intrigued by his profile summary about his love for Christ and his ending response / question, "Do you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior?" Forgive me Lord, I thought this was a bit odd, but I appreciated the fact that he spoke out on his faith and was not afraid to express it. As someone that is continuing to grow in my faith and learning to express it more, it was inspirational to see someone displaying his. So, with that thought in mind, I messaged him. After a week of superficial chatter via text, we decided to meet up at one of Nas's fav spots...Starbucks. We sat for hours talking, as he sipped on his coffee with extra extra cream, I grew to love their green tea latte' and something more that night! ; ) Nas: I guess interesting things do happen when you least expect it. I met Melissa through a dating site and truly it was a breath of fresh air. I remember our first conversation and how we spent hours talking our love for God. I never expected things would have matured into something deeper; moreover, into us getting married. Although it was not love at first sight, I was truly captivated by her attitude towards others and of course her beauty, What I can say is, I found a close friend, a positive influence in my life, and the love of my life; to all of this, I am grateful to God.
