When Melissa found Derby at a Fayetteville Farmer's Market in 2016, it was meant to be. Derby has been by Melissa's side ever since, with stints living in Arkansas, Fort Myers and Jacksonville. They share a love of travel, ice cream and long walks on the beach.
Fenway

Mike met Fenway at the Jacksonville Pound in 2015. Fenway was the only puppers who wanted Mike to take her home. Ever since they have been sharing their love of the Boston Red Sox and binging Netflix shows on the couch.

Shannon is the childhood friend of the bride. They grew up swimming, eating junk food, and watching One Tree Hill together.
Adam Butler
Best Man
Adam is Mike's oldest friend. They quickly learned that they both love Boston sports, and were inseparable during their college years. Adam and Mike also work together!
Emily Podzielinski
Maid of Honor
Emily was Melissa's roommate in grad school at the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig Sooie). Their friendship blossomed by becoming hiking buddies, Houndmouth fans, and throwing a great party or two.
Dustin Go
Best Man
Dustin is a college friend of Mike's. While they went to HS together, they have more recently bonded over basketball. Dustin never misses a Thursday night at Mike's house.
Beth Harness

Beth was the graduate assistant athletic trainer while Melissa was the graduate assistant swim coach at the University of Arkansas. Both hailing from Florida and being fish out of water in a landlocked state, they quickly became inseparable.
Josh Beyler

Josh and Mike met in college. But it's likely Melissa and Josh met in high school. Josh's bigger than life personality was initially what attracted Mike to Josh, but they soon learned they both love the Jaguars, theme parks and day drinking.
Amber Bush

Amber and Melissa met in high school. Amber was the calm to Melissa's crazy and their friendship grew in classes like AP Calculus and History. They've come along way from their days drinking SoCo with chocolate ice cream.
Casey Bowden
Groomsman
Casey and Mike also met in college, although they went to the same high school. Casey is the social chair organizing many events that Mike enjoys attending including Monday night soccer, the OG Thursday guys night and annual ski trips.
Raine Rogers

Raine and Melissa were roommates and teammates at the University of Louisville (Go Cards!). Also both education majors, they bonded outside of the classroom while *surviving* butterfly group and not being fair-weathered fans at UofL football games.
Nick Datz

Nick was 1/3 of the original Thursday night crew. But Mike and Nick have a love for the mountains that has taken them across state lines in search of the fresh POW. They also love Monday night soccer and the Jaguars.
Sara Slattery

Sara and Melissa swam together at the University of Louisville (Go Cards!). While the rest of their teammates were still swimming their senior year, Sara and Melissa decided to take the challenge of going out every night during retirement week. They share a love of Margaritas and Please and Thank You cookies... iykyk.
Jay Rohner

Jay brings out the adventurous side in Mike. Jay and Mike have gone on multiple ski trips, camping trips, day trips to the springs, boating trips and wake boarding trips together.

Honor Attendant
Beth and wish her the biggest congratulations on the birth of her first child! Dustin as he has a family wedding in California, and Nick as he is on the adventure of a lifetime in Alaska. While they may not physically be by our-sides, we know they are spiritually present with us!

Robert is the bride's brother who has become Mike's friend. They have bonded over drinking bourbon and spending time on the boat.
