We're counting down the days!

In this lovely world we live in online dating brought us together. We talked for only a couple of days before we knew we had to meet in person. Mike willingly came to Salem to meet at a favorite restaurant down the street because Rhody was around the corner getting groomed. We met at the restaurant on January 20th, 2020 (before the world shut down). We sat at the bar in the empty restaurant and immediately started to share interests and favorites. It didn't take long to realize we both loved the same kind and bottle of wine. Melissa calls it stick wine and Mike calls it twiggy wine! Two bottles of wine and two dozen oysters later we knew we had met our match. Melissa's jaw hurt from smiling so much. We went on our second date two days later and the rest is history. We became official a week later. Then the pandemic hit. We quarantined together, which consisted of sharing favorite movies, board games and long walks. The pandemic quickly showed us that we can not only handle a lot of time together but we can make the best out of a challenging situation. Rhody's love for Mike only grew. Now he much prefers Mike over myself which only stings a little bit! Now that we all live under the same roof Rhody's obsession with Mike has only grown. That is why Rhody will be standing by Mike's side during the wedding ceremony. Our time together so far has been filled with laughter, adventure, warm hugs and love. We are each others kind of weird and I am sure with age we will only get weirder.
