Popular hikes: - Observation Point: If you have the energy, highly recommend going from bottom of canyon for some of the most breathtaking views. Also can hike from outside the park. - The Narrows - You can rent gear right by the Park's South entrance to trek through the river! - Canyon Overlook: A short hike, great for sunrise! - Angel's Landing: A crowd favorite, can see condors close up, not for those afraid of heights. - Other: Riverside Walk (anytime), Hidden Canyon (anytime), Pa’rus trail (best late evening), and Kayenta trail to Emerald Pools (best early morning). Springdale offers 6 Art Galleries with a wide range of media all depicting their own unique Southwestern flare. Spend a nice afternoon strolling through the city of Springdale, right outside Zion NP. Located just 2 hours from Zion, you can easily take in the beautiful hoodoos in half a day! Located ~2 hr 45 minutes southeast of the venue. You can choose between Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons (you can't go wrong with either)! Most photos seen on social media are from the Upper slot canyons, Mel's favorite is the Lower slot canyons. To visit, you'll need to book with one of the many tour groups operating out of this area. We recommend that you book the tour prior to your visit.
Less than an hour from Zion National Park, surrounded by red rock beauty, and boasts hundreds of acres of sprawling sand dunes and off-road trails. Rent UTVs and ATVs from on-site adventure companies that will take you on tours. Beachside establishments also offer water sports rentals. There is also the famous Sand Hollow golf course.
A little over 30 minutes from Springdale, 90% is open to UTVs and ATVs. Gorgeous sand with hues of pink and orange are surrounded by Southern Utah’s signature red rock mountains. Indigenous desert plants/flowers, insects, and some animals also populate this area.
