Lucky Dog Surf Co
This place is a must visit. And bring A LOT of money, because you will want to buy EVERYTHING. Plus it's just so cute and the vibes are so good. You will love it. You can even sign up for surf camp or lessons for the summer! It's really got all you need. Can't say enough good things. You gotta check it out.
Gateway National Recreation Area
Sandy Hook is part of the Gateway National Recreation Area and where we'll be hosting our wedding ceremony. With the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Sandy Hook Bay to the west, this peninsula features miles of biking / walking trails, a 250 year old lighthouse, and unmatched views of lower Manhattan. If you plan to visit, be sure to ask us about the seal colony that winters here. Entry is free outside of the summer months!
Hartshorne Woods Park
Located just across the Shrewsbury River from our house, this county park boasts both paved & unpaved hiking and biking trails. We love sharing morning walks here in the Spring months with Rosemary and Guinness. If you're looking to get your blood pumping for 35 or 40 minutes, we recommend the Rocky Point Loop!
