Marcus and I first started talking after hearing about each other through my Aunt. She thought if not the perfect match then we would be great friends. Little did she know, she was absolutely right. Our first date was the first time Marcus and I met face to face after talking on the phone for almost a month. This date was the most romantic date I’ve ever had. Our Date: We watched a movie at the theater, ate at our favorite restaurant, (just another thing we had in common), went to a small fair where he won a huge prize for me, took a walk at the riverwalk, sat underneath the bridge near the river to talk and watch the ducks swim by. As we were talking, it felt as if we knew each other all our lives. As I looked into his eyes, I felt as if I had fallen in love. It’s funny that later that night before ending the date, we both mentioned Love at first sight. Little did we know five years later on that day August 23, we will be getting married.
