We met as most people now meet... thanks to a dating app. On September 18, 2018 we went on our last first date and got to know each other over a bowl of pasta in Nolita. New York City was our playground and dates at The Met and wandering Central Park turned into weeks and months and before we knew it we were inseparable (and deleted the dating apps). Now as we take this next step we are excited for all the love and joy that comes from building a life together.

I got home from the airport after a long flight back from LA and was greeted by Mahender on the sofa. We hadn't done our holiday gift exchange before my trip so we had our own little holiday celebration. I lavished him with a new Fitbit and he spoiled me with new earrings. Then we ordered in tacos and settled in for an evening of Netflix. That was when he used his famous line... oh by the way. This time it was oh by the way we should get married. After a bit of teasing I of course said yes and the rest is our history.
