Is there a dress code?
Answer
Please dress to impress in semi-formal attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Note that stiletto heels are not permitted inside the historic property. The ceremony and reception will be held at an outdoors venue, so you may not regret bringing a light shawl or sweater. As for the welcome party, we ask that guests dress in smart casual attire. This evening event will take place in the garden of the Lakeside Inn, shoreside of Lake Dora – please bear this in mind when choosing footwear and dress comfortably.

Where can guests send gifts?
Answer

Are there any limitations around cell phones or photography?
Answer
The bride and groom kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in the moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take photos and videos to your heart's content during the reception -- we can't wait to see the pics later!

What time should I arrive to the venue?
Answer
Although the ceremony will commence promptly at 4:30 pm, guests are welcome to arrive at the venue beginning at 4:00.

Are any discounts on hotel rooms available?
Answer
Yes! If you are booking through the Lakeside Inn, mention that you are attending "Melissa & Kyle Wedding for March 2023" for a discounted rate. Note that Mount Dora is a popular destination, especially in the Spring -- so we encourage guests to book their accommodations early.

Will food be served at the welcome reception?
Answer
We're looking forward to welcoming you to Mount Dora on our final evening as fiancés! The event will offer an open bar as well as light desserts. If you're feeling peckish, there are several fabulous dining options steps away from the venue. We recommend Pisces Rising, WAVE Asian Bistro, and the Beauclaire Dining Room at the Lakeside Inn.
